Dominique Ng's untucked shirt

The normally dapper dresser, Dominique Ng, Sarawak State Assemblyman from Padungan and Sarawak PKR state chief was ordered to leave the Dewan Negri for not having a tucked shirt.
.
He has his reason, of course.

He is quoted as having said, "I am not embarrassed and I have reasons to dress this way because I’m protesting against the suspension of (DAP) member of Kota Sentosa (Chong Chieng Jen)”.

Chong, who is also DAP national vice-chairman, was suspended by the assembly in May for failing to withdraw negative remarks made against Asfia.

He is still barred from attending the assembly.

Silly caper or serious intent?
Only the uninitiated will dismiss Dominique Ng's gesture as being frivolous gamesmanship.

Given the past acrimony between PKR's Ng and DAP's Chong, Ng's untucked shirt should be sending a clear message message to the rank and file of the Sarawak Pakatan Rakyat and their supporters that a rapprochement is in place.

This new-found solidarity between PKR and DAP bodes well for the nascent Sarawak Pakatan alliance. It may prove to be very detrimental to Taib Mahmud and the Sarawak BN.

But will they care? Probably not, which is a good thing for the Pakatan since they'll be left in peace to organise and marshall their forces until the state elections are called soon.

In my days, shirt untucked means zipper undone.

Just out from Quantum of Solace, the mind fills with conspiratorial theories. Monopolies for water in Bolivia by a nebulous organization called Quantum may also be present in some underserved states where indigenous natives suffer at the hands of rapacious what-ever's.

If you think that's bad and therefore calling for the dire presence of a new Change movement stronger than that presented by Obama ex-Kenya, then the brotherhood of the underserved should not wait for the next one - Angels & Demons - to right what is wrong.

Wah wah wah! Cerdik betullah si YB Ng ini. Orang putih kata, "Killing 2 birds with 1 stone". Kemungkinan juga bukan zip tapi seluar terkoyak kot! Hehehe!

Levity is a sign of confidence (in what Dominique Ng and his Pakatan mates are doing in Sarawak):D
