From black school shoes to black car screens.

Seriously, the PH cabinet is defocused and not internally coordinated. The first order of the day should have been to get centrally organized better in three aspects: reforms, deliveries and communications. The first was not done, the second therefore could not be done and hence the third did not have to be done.

And it's dangerous to say they could not do the reforms because they did not expect to win the elections when they made those promises. That would mean they had intent to make empty promises. But now that the rakyat had bought the promises and delivered the result, the promises must be delivered, in the absence of which the rakyat would naturally next gravitate to associate empty promises with the economic dire straits which seem to have become the norm these days.

So the first thing to do is to organize a proper central coordinating body that will handle or at least officialize all communications on matters which impinge directly on the factors which the rakyat face daily. Obviously, that's the economy ...meaning prices of household goods, transport, housing and other daily necessities, and job/business opportunities. The clean-up of government and reduction of 3R impediments can go parallel to that first thrust.

Surely, even with 1MDB, TH, KWAP and other financial sinkholes, there should still be some money left to start and run such a body in sonic-hedgehog time. Just don't fill it with politicians only. Get some smart and sagacious lawyers, wordsmiths and financial experts in asap and do the airwaves, tv screens, mainstream papers, social media in full technicolor. Or die by GE15.

Now, can i get back to my Game Of Thrones season 8 episode 5? Meanwhile the blogger may want to check the blog bin more regularly. Tough finding a reason writing to oblivion. And it would be good to allow posts to be displayed instantly like how it's done at etheorist's; after all, no one else writes here wakakakaaa...

https://tinyurl.com/y45evvws

https://tinyurl.com/y4wj6sny

https://tinyurl.com/y62gxkgl

wallahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17580252352785040456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-600802170849928872.post-25420361593703366112019-04-26T18:43:40.777+08:002019-04-26T18:43:40.777+08:00https://tinyurl.com/y49om29bhttps://tinyurl.com/y49om29bwallahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17580252352785040456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-600802170849928872.post-65716811028152708292019-02-17T08:38:17.609+08:002019-02-17T08:38:17.609+08:00All hell's gonna break loose soon. But given how even Malay parents are sending more of their children to vernacular schools, a national case can be made to mainstream those schools without forfeiture of their independent administration of excellence on the pragmatism that secular education of high standards are a strategic imperative. After all, good education is in the head and not on the skin. And the process of recognizing the UEC is just an administrative process of a local qualification.

That said, i am not sanguine that improving our mainstream system will take only a decade or even a generation because the teachers and educationists themselves are entrenched in mindset and language skills as output from the same system which is to be changed. So, even if we hurry, at the least two generations. That would however be asking well-meaning and concerned parents of today to continue turning a blind eye to what is going on in mainstream schools still indefatigably proselytizing some specific alien culture in what are supposed to be multi-cultural school grounds, thereby polarizing what should be unity-of-diversity to alloy an identity unique only to this country....

It's good to hear you have managed to put your children through fine education. May they excel in life with the same precision of style as someone we both know who has obviously worked hard, made personal sacrifices and provided guidance to support them with deep responsibility through this important segment of life despite all the financial and industrial upheavals. The key objective for most Malaysian parents is to provide their charges a good education as a head-start prelude to higher potential and better careers in a world they know everyday as highly competitive and ever changing.

Meanwhile, for your readers:

https://tinyurl.com/k6wzo2w

https://tinyurl.com/y6vl4adc

https://tinyurl.com/y8anlv4w

https://tinyurl.com/y753lrs6

https://tinyurl.com/yccumyvl

https://tinyurl.com/yb8hbatb

https://tinyurl.com/y8azg7y5

https://tinyurl.com/y7c6hfhn

https://tinyurl.com/yb9kjkvj

https://tinyurl.com/yaq7yx4h

https://tinyurl.com/orudu5g

https://tinyurl.com/6sfsjw

https://tinyurl.com/y8ymmtmp

https://tinyurl.com/y84munjy

https://tinyurl.com/y7qqohys

wallahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17580252352785040456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-600802170849928872.post-9461962597161793922018-12-19T20:20:55.731+08:002018-12-19T20:20:55.731+08:00One can be excused for thinking the GE14 winners a...One can be excused for thinking the GE14 winners are in a bout of LSS.

That's loose sarung syndrome, by the way.

The last time they won some (GE12), they were given a rude wakeup call by Umno.

The wheels of justice must turn faster; put the whole lot behind bars which will send a message to our Malays that crime makes time.

It will also remind M2.0 that his M1.0's aim of monetizing political power was what had created the monster that is Umno, today still whistling with hands in pockets after creaming over six percent of the country's GDP EVERY year.

This country has been run to the ground by idiots and some are still looking to save themselves or some crazy imperative based on RACE AND RELIGION all over again.

Malaysians of all miens are STUPID. One of Malaysia's b...Big-Banging The Big Banks

One of Malaysia's big problems is that its leaders have dull wits. Once something appears to work, they don't pay any attention to sustaining success by constant monitoring of what has changed which requires tweaking, re-engineering and restructuring. Swimming in some past success, they become lazy and start to exercise malignant neglect by keeping status quo.

When local banks were persuaded to merge, it was as a a local solution to counteract the muscles of big foreign banks given license. In the process of doing so, the local banks started to assume the metallic efficiency of foreign banks but at the sacrifice of customary person-to-person practices which take fuller cognizance of local needs and conditions inasmuch individual limitations towards optimal decision-making.

The impersonal efficiency inside the bank ends up not translating into new personal efficiency by the very customers upon whom the bank depends but on whom the bank sends on a merry-go-round maze when the customer wants fast and accurate answers to make informed decisions or overcome the time-dependent hurdle of bureaucratic bottlenecks not of his making.

What was before thinking of the customer first for mutual long-term growth became thinking of the bank itself first on the primacy of short-term stock-price performance based on cost-containment by limiting time-and-effort interactions with customers.

Yet banks continue to issue glossy marketing brochures whose only objective is to get customers to sign up at the door in order to enjoy death by a thousand cuts once in the room.

Today this lacuna has widened at precisely the time when depressed international trade, weakening local currency, and increasing costs of production are posing life-threatening challenges to our SMEs.

Dare one hope the banking associations and oversight bodies in the industry will take initiative to remediate the situation? Unlikely - since it is all a syndicate.

But if small customers don't get all necessary help to grow, how can they get to be big enough to meet the new criteria of banking privileges customized only for the big customers that banks nowadays only like to do business with? It's not like the small customers are asking a lot - just try to see things from their points of view for once, and do the right things for them.

wallahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17580252352785040456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-600802170849928872.post-51226745028987296792018-12-12T20:29:14.308+08:002018-12-12T20:29:14.308+08:00The all-encompassing five-letter one-word reason f...The all-encompassing five-letter one-word reason for all that ever happens:

k...a

wallahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17580252352785040456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-600802170849928872.post-61462726737447748722018-12-11T21:20:37.035+08:002018-12-11T21:20:37.035+08:00Hi walla. Will it as a single-MP party in the opposition wing of Parliament, furthermore won on phantom votes, be checking and balancing what its compatriots of Umno or those in PAS will be doing more than what Pakatan will be doing?

Which comes to Pakatan. At the moment, Mahathir's age is telling on his energy level despite years of Malaysia-politic experience, many of which his own making. There must be some serious horse-trading in the background at the moment on the rest of the Cabinet seats to be filled just as one can see how the rakyat are dismayed at some of those already nominated.

But let's ask ourselves if not him, who to do it? Anwar is less known for his national organizational skills than for his speaking acumen and the record still stands he has been instrumental in propping his popularity among the Malay Muslims by spreading suffocative neo-salafism in this supposedly secular state that is Malaysia. Isn't that why so many voters are now rankling about the nomination of the new education minister on the premise that Mahathir must have acquiesced to Anwar's PKR which had also in lesser words publicly questioned the Finance nomination so soon after the win?

If PKR doesn't pull up its socks to go beyond its pedestrian seats distribution focus, then more people will indirectly suspect Mahathir is trying to hijack the cabinet whereupon Pakatan will have a harder time (a) making the first national political transition, (b) exposing and clearing the mess left by Barisan, (c) building a new and more progressive nation, (d) making Umno and others pay their dues and crimes, (e) navigating around the minefield of a pro-Umno royalty whose fortunes are tied to the primacy of Islam which is used as unifying chain by a hypocritical PAS forever lying (two verbs) in the background to pounce come GE15, and (f) tapping its new-given mandate delivered with so much difficulty and suffering by the rakyat of Malaysia.

So, better the devil we know than one we don't. That's how the rakyat can watch over the future of their country. The true test of democracy. The lessons of history.wallahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17580252352785040456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-600802170849928872.post-49298486076488157532018-05-21T11:01:20.109+08:002018-05-21T11:01:20.109+08:00The collective effect from focusing on just Najib&...The collective effect from focusing on just Najib's travesties is to deflect attention from the fact all the other Umno leaders are equally complicit in leveraging their positions for spoils out of the rakyats' funds.

Many were more than accessory to the crimes of corruption and abuse of power given to them as servants of the rakyat. They were co-conspirators in stoking racism in order to keep Umno's power base.

They had also turned a blind eye to the politically-motivated murders of innocents and theft of state funds unresolved to this day.

Therefore, Umno's continuation as a political party is not doable because the present crop of its leadership is still made of those who have abused their power and the list is long, the corruption wide and embedded, the perpetrators unrepentant and their punishment forgotten in the elation and euphoria of the rakyat.

For instance, has anyone asked Zahid whether and how he has rm230 million? Or Musa Aman, Ismail Sabri, Ali Rustam, Md Isa, Mohamad Hasan, Jamal Yunos, even Md Taib as Alliance leader? Has anyone forgotten how the RM100 million Sports Ministry scam was subsequently hushed up when Khairy was helming that ministry? How about Shahrizat made senator despite cowgate? What about the Drainage Dept case in Sabah?

Beyond cringeworthy statements they made, there are hundreds of such abuse of justice by Umno's leaders and hangers-on that have directly affected the national Treasury as custodian of rakyats' funds. It's not just at the federal level but also in the states. It's not just about dishing out rm50 and rm100 notes to corrupt the minds of Malay voters but also millions of ringgit of wired deals inflated in price to purloin under-table money as inducements for political favors. If they stand before the jury in today's Nuremberg or Tokyo trial, what will be the verdict and sentence?

Therefore, the Umno today remains the same hypocritical Umno before the 9th of May. And if its leadership are evicted to stand trial for their crimes, who can take their place? Many of the down-lines are equally complicit. They took favors and handouts that they knew didn't come from Umno but the rakyat. And minions as they have been for so long, how are their members to test new candidates for integrity? What qualifications do they have in the first place to do so in order to create a new Umno leadership that can be a credible checks-and-balance opposition in Parliament to watch over Pakatan? After all, members of a political party that has never checked-and-balanced itself cannot arrogate to itself to check-and-balance others, can it as an immoral and unrepentant political party?

wallahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17580252352785040456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-600802170849928872.post-51741651462237510332018-05-15T12:17:33.600+08:002018-05-15T12:17:33.600+08:00http://tinyurl.com/y9elfez8http://tinyurl.com/y9elfez8wallahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17580252352785040456noreply@blogger.com
