When I read this report entitled PLUS, Touch ‘N Go mull replacing tolls with gantry system my immediate thought was:
DON'T BLOODY MULL, JUST BLOODY DO IT!!!!
It'll save a lot of money in medication and medical consultation on stress, high blood pressure, hypertension ... you get the picture.
And, economic opportunity cost of time wasted in highway toll queues.
The gantry system was in place in S'pore more than ten years ago.
ReplyDeleteIf Samy had wanted, he could have forced it here. Instead vested interests were allowed to operate like a mafia with the consumer putting up with massive daily and festive season traffic jams and being taken for a ride all the way.
